Challenges in managing catering timelines

I’ve been noticing some recurring challenges in our catering timelines lately, especially when it comes to last-minute changes from clients. The way our supply chain is set up sometimes makes it tough to pivot effectively without causing delays — has anyone else found successful strategies to improve efficiency under time constraints? I’m all ears.

I totally get that — it’s like trying to juggle flaming torches. One thing that’s worked for us is building a buffer into our prep schedules for those last-minute changes. Have you tried that with your timelines?

One thing I’ve found helpful is implementing a real-time tracking tool for orders. It keeps everyone aligned and ready to make quick adjustments without losing precious time. Have you thought about using something like that to help streamline your process, @cbishop03?
